Residential Psychiatric Care for Adolescent Males

This program is designed for individuals who do not require acute care hospitalization but still require supervision and active treatment on a 24-hour basis. The goal is to help them achieve a level of functioning that allows follow-up care in a less restrictive setting.

To be admitted to the program, a potential patient must meet broad, general criteria and more specific requirements intended to help match his needs with the hospital’s resources, ability and capacity for providing the necessary care. An admission to the Residential Psychiatric Program is considered a non-emergency admission.
