Comprehensive Mental Health Care for Children and Adolescents

Diamond Grove Center offers a broad range of treatment programs for children and adolescents through a multi-disciplinary staff that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, registered and licensed practical nurses, family nurse practitioners, social workers, social therapists, behavioral health specialists, recreation and activity therapists, teachers and occupational therapists. Treatment is provided in a nurturing, secure environment which promotes self-responsibility and healthy development.

The hospital is comprised of three major components: a 25-bed acute psychiatric unit for children and adolescents (ages 5 to 17), a 30-bed residential psychiatric program (ages 12 to 17) and day treatment services offered to local school districts when needed. We incorporate a therapeutic milieu specifically designed to treat serious emotional, psychological and behavioral difficulties among children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 17.
